Meeting in Greece!

We were waiting for them anxiously and finally everyone just arrived at the airport of Makedonia of Thessaloniki: Romania, Portugal, Poland, Turkey and Spain came with curiosity and enthusiasm to discover Greece. On the 5th March we welcomed them heartily at our High-School of Neo Gynaikokastro with a lot of Music, dances, food and small, but specific, meaningful greek, presents.

Our friends from Europe enjoyed everything in Greece, as they told us.

But wait a minute! We had some complaining from the Polish teacher. Alexandra is a tea drinker and she couldn?t find it in Greece in the Taverna. But she overcame it with a great smile. Also the Poland students complained but for a good reason: They wanted to stay longer: Probably FOR EVER. We had some small romance going on here and a lot of new friendships.

The Turkish friends were very friendly and giving. Aspasia, Anastasia and Thalia remember the necklesses presented by the headmaster. They were also satisfied, because they managed to visit the Turkish Embassy, which Fatma called the best sight from all the others in Greece!

And now to Romania. It is hard to describe them. They were very nice, polite and happy. Nevertheless they were dancing and laughing with us. And they enjoyed Greece for a few days more.

Our Portuguese friends Ida and Christina came with their headmaster Jose. In the beginning Jose was quite shy, but with our temperament he put all his shyness away and he started dancing with us. We still remember the song Nosa Nosa, which our Spanish friends, Rebecca and Ivan started to sing with Christina and Ida.

Ivan was the source of joy in this trip in Greece and we thank him a lot!
